IV - Economics and Public Policy Dartmouth College, 2015 Economics/Government, B.A.

Biography

A native of Baltimore, Maryland, David graduated from Dartmouth College where he studied economics and government. Upon leaving the mountains of New Hampshire, he worked for Hamilton Place Strategies in Washington, D.C., prior to transitioning to an analyst role at the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO). During his three years in the CBO's Microeconomic Studies Division, he helped produce in-depth reports for Congress, including ones examining the expected economic and budgetary costs of storms, the financial soundness and affordability of the National Flood Insurance Program, and infrastructure financing costs. He also helped build an econometric model to study how state and local governments alter their spending on highway infrastructure in response to changes in federal investment. David completed his MPA internship working with the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. At the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, David aims to supplement his economic research experience with additional applied and interdisciplinary training, while also furthering his analytical capabilities. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, trying new recipes, and doing pretty much anything outdoors.
