If you are committed to public service and you’ve thought about joining our community, now is the time, and we encourage you to begin preparing your application and supplemental materials.

We seek the next generation of policy makers and public leaders at Princeton SPIA. The qualities we look for in our applicants include a commitment to public service, a strong academic background, a diversity of perspectives, and evidence of both past and future leadership and impact.

Our application deadline is December 15, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Please note: Princeton SPIA will pay the application fee for those who apply by November 15, 2025. After submitting your application, our office will still accept additional materials through the month of December, including GRE scores for MPA applicants, letters of recommendation and academic transcripts. These are not required to submit your application, but your application will remain incomplete until all required documents are received.

* Be mindful that applying by the November 15th deadline will not have an impact on your admissibility or application, except that we will cover your application fee. We have one application cycle and one deadline of December 15th , after which, we will begin to review all files. Submit your application only when you are ready.

**To those eligible for Princeton’s traditional application fee waivers, these are still available to you if you submit your application by the December 15th deadline. You can find more information about our application fee waiver program and the list of eligibility here.
