Congratulating 123 Woodrow Wilson School Seniors in Princeton’s Great Class of 2019
On June 4, 123 seniors who majored in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs graduated as part of Princeton University’s Great Class of 2019. Among them are members of Ivy League championship teams, class officers, college theater thespians, residential college council members, Pace Center for Civic Engagement volunteers, and Orange Key tour guides.Within the School’s multidisciplinary liberal arts major, the seniors researched some of today’s most important policy issues, from mass incarceration and the persistence of poverty in the U.S., to the future of Syria and U.S.-China relations. Woodrow Wilson School Awards Advanced Degrees to 91 Future Leaders in Public Service
At a Hooding Ceremony reception held in Frist Campus Center June 3, Dean Cecilia Rouse congratulated 91 graduate students who earned advanced degrees from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Artist Walter Hood Describes Upcoming Installation about Woodrow Wilson’s Complex Legacy at Recent Public Talk
Artist Walter Hood discussed his proposed design for a new campus installation about Woodrow Wilson at a recent public talk at Princeton University’s Friend Center. Co-sponsored by the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and the Campus Iconography Committee, the talk presented an opportunity for the community to learn more about the sculpture. The National Academy of Sciences announced the election of 100 new members and 25 foreign associates in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research. Construction for Installation about Woodrow Wilson Soon to be Underway
Construction for a new installation about Woodrow Wilson will begin June 2019 on Scudder Plaza beside Robertson Hall, home of the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.Designed by acclaimed artist Walter Hood, the piece measures 39 feet in height and will be erected adjacent to the Fountain of Freedom on the Washington Road side of the plaza. Paul Lipton Named Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education at the Woodrow Wilson School

Princeton Researchers Awarded Funding for Innovative Education Research Projects
A group of researchers at Princeton University will receive funding to work on innovative, cross-disciplinary education research projects over the next two academic years.More than $300,000 was awarded to Anne Catena, Michael Celia, Adam Kapor, Christopher Neilson, Daniel Rubenstein, and Maria Micaela Sviatschi by the Overdeck Education Innovation Fund.The Overdeck Innovation Fund was created by Overdeck Family Foundation, which donated over $1 million to the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs to support cross-disciplinary research projects across campus involving quantitative data analysis.Funds will be distributed for the…
