Wilson School Affiliate Elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences

A Wilson School affiliate has been inducted to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences' 235th Class of MembersMartin Gilens, a professor of politics, and faculty associate at the Center for the Study of Democratic Politics. 

Gilens joins two other Princeton faculty: Sanjeev Arora, the Charles C. Fitzmorris Professor in Computer Science; and Ali Yazdani, the Class of 1909 Professor of Physics.

The three are among 147 people elected to the class. Founded in 1780, the academy is one of the country's oldest learned societies and independent policy research centers, and currently includes 4,600 members.
