Caitlin Quinn
Biography
Caitlin grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and spent a year living in Salvador, Brazil, before starting college. A member of the 2018 SINSI cohort, Caitlin graduated from Princeton University with a degree in public and international affairs and minors in Latin American studies and Portuguese. As an undergraduate, she studied abroad in Toledo, Spain, and Belfast, Northern Ireland. She also interned with a newspaper in Málaga, Spain; a cultural institution in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and the State Department in Washington, D.C. In July 2019, Caitlin began her SINSI fellowship rotations at the House Foreign Affairs Committee on the Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere, Civilian Security, and Trade. Her second rotation was at the State Department's Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs in the Office of Central Affairs. Since March 2020, Caitlin has worked at the U.S. Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division in the Special Litigation Section. Caitlin plans to eventually pursue a career in federal government service, and in her free time, enjoys traveling, listening to podcasts, and cheering on the San Antonio Spurs.
