The Robert Bosch Foundation and Alfa Fellowship Programs are distinguished international initiatives that each year offer accomplished early- and mid-career Americans the opportunity to participate in paid high-level professional development programs in either Germany (Bosch) or Russia (Alfa). Fellows complete professional assignments at leading institutions, attend seminars, and receive intensive language training. In addition, trips to cities in the region are interspersed throughout the program year. The fellowships provide a monthly stipend, health insurance, all program-related travel costs, language training in Germany or Russia, and private tutoring in the U.S. as needed. Please note that U.K. and German citizens are also eligible for the Alfa Fellowship Program. The annual deadline for the Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship Program is Nov. 1 and for the Alfa Fellowship Program, Dec. 1.
