Cass Sunstein, the Robert Walmsley University Professor at Harvard Law School, will speak over lunch on his 2017 Princeton University Press Book, #Republic: Divided Democracy in the Age of Social Media.  

Sunstein will talk about how the Internet and cybercascades have exacerbated our natural tendencies toward confirmation bias and will help us consider the practical and legal needs for an “architecture of serendipity.” 

This event, which requires pre-registration, is co-sponsored with the University Center for Human Values.
