Decolonizing Climate Change Adaptation in Small Islands: Oceanic Perspectives on Climate Change, Mobility and Sovereignty

Dr. Parsons is of Maori descent and a faculty member at the University of Auckland. She works on environmental management and climate change adaptation regarding Indigenous peoples and rural women in the Oceania and Australasia regions. She was a Contributing Author for the IPCC’s Sixth Assessment Report for Working Group II (Impacts, Vulnerability and Adaptation).
