2016 American Studies Graduate Student Conference at Princeton University.
For almost a decade now, the Princeton University Program in American Studies has supported graduate students in organizing cross-disciplinary conferences that bring in leading scholars as keynote speakers and provide opportunity for graduate students to present their research.
This year’s conference, to be held on March 25-26, 2016, will explore rural spaces, places, and people throughout American history and the present. We seek to bring together graduate students from many disciplines and institutions to ask interdisciplinary questions of the social, cultural, legal, political and intellectual experience of rural life.
