The Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and Princeton's Mamdouha S. Bobst Center for Peace and Justice, will host a policy forum titled, “The Future of Egypt” from 12:30 to 6 p.m., on Monday, April 13, 2015.

The by-invitation-only workshop will convene leading scholars and policy institute experts to address Egypt’s post-Arab Spring political reform agenda. The conference will begin with a luncheon and keynote address by Amr Hamzawy, professor of political science at the American University in Cairo and founder of the Masr Elhureyya party.  Candace Putnam, director at the Office of Egypt Affairs at the State Department, will also be among the key participants.

Throughout the day, experts will address how the events of the last few years have influenced Egypt’s democratization trajectory, how the Islamist opposition plays a role and the outlook for regional and foreign relations moving forward.
