A screening of the film: “The Man Who Saved the World”

The Woodrow Wilson School will host a screening of the new documentary film "The Man Who Saved the World" at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10 in Bowl 002, Robertson Hall. The film will be followed by a Q&A with Bruce Blair from the Program on Science and Global Security of the Wilson School, a former U.S. Air Force Minuteman intercontinental ballistic missile launch control officer and co-founder of Global Zero (www.globalzero.org (external link)), an international organization devoted to eliminating all nuclear weapons. Appointed to the U.S. Secretary of State's International Security Advisory Board in 2011, Blair is a leading expert on U.S. and Russian nuclear weapon policies. The film will be shown as part of "Freshman Seminar 138: Life in a Nuclear-Armed World." The event is co-sponsored with the Coalition for Peace Action
