Princeton University's Department of Politics and Center for the Study of Democratic Politics (CSDP) are co-sponsoring this meeting of the Social Science Research Council's Anxieties of Democracy Working Group on Institutions. The goal of this conference is to bring social science to bear on contemporary anxieties about the capacity and performance of American governing institutions.
