In partnership with Princeton 's of Innovation and The Kahneman-Treisman Center for Behavioral Science & Public Policy, the applied behavioral science consultancy ideas42 is hosting a workshop for Princeton faculty and postdoctoral researchers looking to unlock private foundation funding for policy-relevant field research.
Piyush Tantia, Chief Innovation & Strategy Officer at ideas42, will share their organization's experiences partnering with academics on policy-relevant research, many of which have led to publication in journals such as Science and also to generous funding from private foundations.
The workshop will share case studies and how ideas42 has adapted their approach since their original academic roots. A senior ideas42 leader with over a decade of experience at the Gates Foundation and other private foundations will share the funder perspective. The workshop will conclude with an open discussion of opportunities and ideas.
This program is an extension of the B-Sci Desk, ideas42's pilot residency with SPIA. Through this partnership, students and faculty from any field can work with senior leaders from ideas42, the world's first and largest non-profit behavioral science innovation lab.
Lunch will be served at noon with the program to follow. Please RSVP for lunch by March 13
