Silvia Weyerbrock
Biography
Silvia Weyerbrock is a lecturer at Princeton University in Economics and International Affairs. Before Princeton, she was a lecturer at Columbia University and an assistant professor at the University of Delaware. She has also worked with the World Bank and the International Food Policy Research Institute. Weyerbrock specializes in applied trade policy analysis examining reforms of the EU's Common Agricultural Policy and trade implications of EU enlargements. She has also studied the labor-market implications of East-West migration in Europe, multilateral trade liberalization, and nontariff barriers to trade. She teaches courses on International Trade, International Economics, the Economics of Europe and the Economics of Food and Agriculture. Weyerbrock holds a Diplom in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Göttingen and a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from UC Berkeley.
