On the fifty year anniversary of its passage, this event will invite practitioners and advocates to explore how NJ’s Mount Laurel decision informs the present and future of affordable housing in New Jersey and around the country.
Invited panelists have diverse backgrounds in law, planning, policy, advocacy, and government. The panels will contemplate a range of topics: the Mount Laurel I ruling, ongoing implementation of New Jersey’s new landmark affordable housing law S50/A4, affordable housing priorities for the coming years, and finally, an exploration of how New Jersey’s approach to affordable housing compares to – or has influenced – those in other states. In partnership with Fair Share Housing Center. CLE credit available through the Supreme Court Board on Continuing Legal Education (SCBCLE).
