Biography

Lauren Davis is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. She serves as a lecturer for the Introduction to Public Policy course and has a forthcoming book on the U.S. social safety net. Dr. Davis holds a Ph.D. in Policy Analysis from Pardee RAND Graduate School, along with a master’s degree in Economic Development from Vanderbilt University

Dr. Davis has previously served as a Statistician at Vanderbilt University, as well as a Research Fellow at the RAND Corporation. Her research primarily focuses on entitlement programs and the social safety net system in the United States. She specializes in systematically measuring and identifying gaps within the system to improve its efficacy.
