Following initial remarks, Dmitry Grozoubinski will be in conversation with Gene Grossman, Jacob Viner Professor of International Economics, Princeton University.


Dmitry Grozoubinski is the founder of ExplainTrade and specializes in training government officials and corporate officers on how to succeed at trade policy and complex negotiations. Since 2019, Dmitry has trained senior officials from the governments of the United Kingdom, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, India, and Argentina in complex negotiations and international trade. He also trained dozens of leading organizations such as Osborne Clarke, Travers Smith, Bacardi International, the City of London Corporation and Royal Bank of Canada.

Dmitry is the Executive Director of the Geneva Trade Platform, a collaboration of the Swiss Government and the Geneva Graduate Institute.

He specializes in partnering with organizations such as the United Nations and national governments to support the transparency, functioning, and inclusiveness of the international trade policy conversation. This includes helping translate the complex world of trade policy for audiences who have historically struggled to be heard and bringing them into the conversation.
